Who we are
A build shop with a camera in it.
We come from construction and fabrication, and we work for people who make films. That combination is the whole idea.
Most independent productions in North Texas end up choosing between two bad options: shoot in a real location you don't control, or pay stage rates that were never designed for a small budget. Neither one gets you an environment built for your script.
Northside Studios exists to be the third option. We design custom sets, build them ourselves in an approximately 4,500 sq ft Fort Worth production warehouse, and let productions shoot them in the same building. Nothing gets trucked. Nothing gets lost between a drawing and a wall.
Where the name comes from
Fort Worth's Northside is a working part of town with a long history of building things and putting on a show. That's the register we want: practical, unfussy, a little bit theatrical when the camera is rolling.
We're new, and we'll say so
The sets on this site are design concepts that show our range and level of finish — not a portfolio of finished productions. As real builds go up and get shot, they'll replace the concepts, clearly labeled. We'd rather earn trust slowly than borrow it dishonestly.

One facility in Fort Worth, Texas, serving Dallas, Arlington, Denton, Plano, Irving and the rest of the metroplex.
Texas has an enormous amount of filmmaking talent and not nearly enough affordable infrastructure to support it. Building that infrastructure locally — in a warehouse, at prices indie producers can plan around — is what we're trying to do.

- No. Northside Studios is a production warehouse, not a certified soundstage, and it is not soundproof. It is a large, controllable interior space suited to custom set builds and productions that manage their own sound.
