Environments
Every set here
starts as a question.
These are the kinds of environments we design and build. Each one is a starting point — sized, dressed and reconfigured for the production that books it.

What we build.
Northside Studios is new, and we believe in being straight with filmmakers: the environments below are design concepts showing our range and direction, not finished productions. As sets get built and shot, this page fills with the real thing.

Don't see what you need?
Most of what we build isn't on this page. If your script needs a room that doesn't exist yet, that's the interesting version of this job.
Bring reference images, a mood board, script pages or a description. We'll design the environment around your coverage and your budget, build it in our Fort Worth warehouse, and have it standing when your crew arrives.
Quick answers
Filmmaker questions
What kind of film sets can Northside Studios build?
- Apartments, bedrooms, offices, ranch interiors, bars, restaurants, interrogation rooms, hospital rooms, industrial environments, period interiors and completely original fictional environments.
Can Northside Studios build a custom film set?
- Yes. Northside Studios designs and constructs custom camera-ready environments from its Fort Worth production warehouse. Filmmakers can bring script pages, reference images, sketches or an original concept, and the set can be designed around the production's creative requirements, budget and shooting needs.
Can an existing set be modified?
- Yes. Existing sets can be repainted, redressed, reconfigured or partially rebuilt. Adding an existing finished set to a shoot day is +$150 per day, and modification work is quoted based on scope.
Can my set remain standing overnight?
- Yes. An overnight set hold is $75 per night, which keeps your set standing between shoot days so you do not have to reset or rebuild.
