The space
Controlled, private, yours for the day.
This is a working production warehouse, not a conference room with lights. It is open floor, controllable, and private for the length of your booking.
Real locations come with landlords, neighbours, business hours, weather and the constant risk of someone walking through your frame. A warehouse removes all of it. You control the light because there is no daylight you didn't create. You control the schedule because nobody else is using the room.
Build in it, then shoot in it
The reason to book here rather than a bare rental is that the set can be built in the same space. Design, construction, dressing and photography happen in one building, so a finished environment never has to be broken down and moved.
What it is not
Being straight about it: this is not a certified soundstage and it is not soundproofed. Productions that need controlled sound should plan for it the way they would on any practical location. What you get instead is size, privacy, control and a build shop attached to the room — at a fraction of soundstage pricing.

How much does Northside Studios cost?

Is the warehouse a soundstage?
- No. Northside Studios is a production warehouse, not a certified soundstage, and it is not soundproof. It is a large, controllable interior space suited to custom set builds and productions that manage their own sound.
Can I shoot a proof of concept at Northside Studios?
- Yes. Proofs of concept, short films, independent features, music videos, commercials and photography projects are all welcome. A half day of up to five hours is $325.
Can my set remain standing overnight?
- Yes. An overnight set hold is $75 per night, which keeps your set standing between shoot days so you do not have to reset or rebuild.
